A designer creation between the Australian Shepherd and the Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) this breed combines two complimentary breeds into one. Both individual breeds are excellent working and herding dogs that love the outdoors. This pup will make for an excellent running partner and loves daily outdoor exercise. This is a highly intelligent and motivated working pup that likes lots of challenging tasks that require both thought and energy to accomplish. As an adult the Texas Heeler will stand about 20 inches tall and weigh around 35 – 55 pounds. This is a very pleasant breed to be around and a very curious one at that.
